What life at level 1 looks like at Renwick Medical

Even though we have moved into level one and life has somewhat returned to normal for most people and business owners in New Zealand, here at Renwick Medical life won’t quite be “Normal” for some time. We haven’t completely let our guard down, Covid-19 is still out there, with New Zealanders still returning home unfortunately there is a chance Covid19 could spread among the community again.

In order to keep our staff and ‘at risk’ patients safe we still have measures in place during level one. When booking an appointment with us, please note our staff will ask if you have any “Flu or Respiratory symptoms’ or have returned from overseas. (Please note all patients required to be seen will be asked these questions, is it not to single anyone out but simply to allow precautions to be taken to keep everyone as safe as possible)

Flu and Respiratory symptoms include; coughs, temporary loss of smell, fever, sore throat, shortness of breath and or runny nose.

OR if you have returned form overseas in the last 28days or been in contact with someone that is a suspected or confirmed Covid19 case.

If you answer yes, to any of the following you will be advised by our clinical staff what the procedure is at our practice. We also ask should you develop any of the symptoms listed above to call us ahead of your appointment rather than presenting to reception where you will also be asked if you are feeling well today or have any of the above symptoms before taking a seat in one of our waiting rooms.

We continue to Thank you for you patience and understanding during these trying times and hope to continue to provide you with the best possible service.
